What does the help cost?

The price depends on the home and the help you choose. The first call is free of charge. After that you film the home and answer questions in the app, and you receive your written price proposal within two working days after we have gone through your film and answers.

The estate inventory (bouppteckning) costs 4 900 kr including VAT, a fixed price for a normal estate, also on its own. You appoint the two estate inventory officials (förrättningspersoner) yourselves, for example a friend or neighbour who has no share in the estate. Once you have said yes

Behind your contact are specialists we engage under our responsibility. You never have to coordinate anyone yourselves.

    Every heir says yes

    No work starts until every heir has said yes. The contract is signed with BankID or an email code, and you have a 14-day right of withdrawal.

    The personal things first

    Photos, letters and jewellery are set aside before anything else is done.

    A report after each stage

    You get a short report when a stage is finished, so you know where the estate stands.

    A final account to the krona

    When everything is done you get a final account of every krona.

Questions about the price

Can the price change during the work?

The price for what you have chosen does not change without your yes. The price applies to what the film and answers showed. If something significant is not shown, for example a cellar, storage room or garage, you get a new price to say yes or no to, never a silent surcharge. If the estate inventory is included and it turns out that there is a will, assets abroad, a business or a dispute between heirs, you get a new price in writing for the estate inventory, and nothing more is done with it until you have approved it. If you say no, that part of the assignment ends, and you pay nothing for the work we have already done on the estate inventory.

We live in different places, does that still work?

Yes. One contact person holds everything together, and all heirs see the same status and weekly update in the family's case.

Are a lawyer and an estate agent included in the price?

Vidare's support during the sale is included. The estate agent's fee is paid by the estate, and distribution of the inheritance is not included in any of the packages. If a legal assessment is needed, we bring in a lawyer after a separate quote, and nothing is done until you have approved it.

What does the estate inventory alone cost?

4 900 kr, including VAT, a fixed price for a normal estate, and that is the whole price. If it turns out that there is a will, assets abroad, a business or a dispute between heirs, you get a new price in writing, and nothing more is done until you have approved it. If you say no, the assignment ends, and you pay nothing for the work we have already done. If a legal assessment is needed, we bring in a lawyer after a separate quote. The line Vidare's work, 3 900 kr, is added only when we take care of the home.

Does the RUT deduction apply?

No. According to Skatteverket, RUT (the Swedish tax deduction for household services) does not apply to work in an estate of a deceased person. Be careful with prices stated “after RUT”, they do not apply to your situation.
